You must go and see Kensuke’s Island! As you reach the island you will notice that the water turns into a smoother liquid and that it becomes completely clear, a rich cobalt. You ought to take a dip or at the very least, put your feet in.

As you get to the island, a ribbon of creamy sand will land at your feet, mixed with cotton and rose coloured shells in rows. You can run around and fell the sand underneath your feet. Beware of the funky gibbons, though you might want to leap with them!

A sea foam and seaweed forest will await you next, you should also explore the emerald mix! There will be cinnamon coconuts full of their fresh milk, which must be a refreshing drink. Keep your eyes peeled for the juicy candy red bananas, sweeter than at home!

You shouldn’t explore Kensuke’s cave as it is dangerous and mysterious. You could get a shock from the owner of the island! Try instead the steep mountains in the north. You could try to climb it and you will find that the view up there is glorious.

Literacy 14th October

I woke up in the middle of a forest, but it was unnaturally straight in the form of a path leading forwards and backwards. Something told me this nightmare wasn’t going to end anytime soon. I paced forwards and eventually started to jog as I endured the icy cold stare of something or someone following me, it was just hovering, gradually coming closer. I was worried that if I stopped it would be there, behind me. I had no choice, I had to keep going, I had to keep hope, I had to wake up. Eventually the cold draft would stop and reappear in a cycle, then I came across three paths, left, right, or forward, left, right, or forward I had to choose. I chose the path to the right and suddenly felt relieved. I had the feeling that if I chose to go left or forward I would see the thing. Everyone that knew me, would forget. Any trail of me, would cease to exist. I continued down the path for what seemed like hours, my energy was draining, what seemed like hope, had disintegrated to one tiny speck. If anyone reads this, there is NO hope, he WILL catch you, there is NO escape…

Literacy 14th October

I crept slowly across the forest. Darkness closed into me. Misty fog billowed ahead of me, I trembled and shivered. Silently something slithered through my legs. The damp wet leaves and sticks crunched loudly. Something scuttled in the darkness. Immediately I stopped and turned around. Cautiously, I paced forward while the indistinct fog lingered around my whole body. Brown leaves fell by the gust of the wind. Ice cold sweat trickled down my head. I scanned the horizon. Something grabbed my leg. SPLAT! I stumbled. The wind wailed. Trees groaned…
