Literacy 14th October

I crept slowly across the forest. Darkness closed into me. Misty fog billowed ahead of me, I trembled and shivered. Silently something slithered through my legs. The damp wet leaves and sticks crunched loudly. Something scuttled in the darkness. Immediately I stopped and turned around. Cautiously, I paced forward while the indistinct fog lingered around my whole body. Brown leaves fell by the gust of the wind. Ice cold sweat trickled down my head. I scanned the horizon. Something grabbed my leg. SPLAT! I stumbled. The wind wailed. Trees groaned…
