Modal Verbs

We have been learning to use Modal Verbs for persuasion.

After arriving at the warm , relaxing island you ought to pause for a moment and glimpse at the azure ocean. Be sure to take a dip in this lovely refreshing ocean. You will have the adventure of a life time.

I recommend you shouldn’t go near Kensuke’s cave, for the cave drawings are sure to be cursed. Be careful of Kensuke’s phantom spirit that haunts this cave. If you do go in, you will be killed!

In the centre of the wonderful island is a rainforest with funky gibbons and a giant orangutan. You must go and see them up close! Keep your eyes peeled for the red bananas in the bendy palm trees.

On the chiffon white sand where the shells lay, a shipwreck is buried in the sand, you must visit. Here you will be able to imagine you are a real pirate. You might even wish you were marooned upon the seven seas. It is even believed that Kensuke himself owned this shipwreck.

    I found your piece of writing very interesting especially the part you will be able to imagine you are are a life pirate .
    I loved how you wrote about the chiffon of white sand .
    but I think you should write orangatans not orangatan in your 3rd paragraph cause there is more than one
