Modal Verbs

We have been learning to use modal verb for persuasion.

You ought to visit the tropical island of Kensuke’s Kingdom. The island is framed by smooth, snow white sands. Whilst you are on this vacation, you certainly must avoid the cave that is located at the Northern end of the island as it is gloomy and frightening to see.

Along the way you must at least dip feet in the lapis blue ocean because it is cool and tingly. On your visit you must keep your eyes peeled for scarlet red bananas as they are juicier and much more sweeter than the ones we know.

After the Sun sets you better look out for insects. They could be vicious. As you wake up, need to see the amazingĀ  and majestic sunrise at the peak of watch hill. As it is a once in a life-time occasion!

Please keep your valuables in a safe spot, other wise the cheeky orangutans or the funky gibbons will get them.

Next time I will do this, I think I would focus on the layout of the paragraphs ( i.e. on the left, not centred ) and on adjectives. I would also try to make my paragraphs a bit longer.

You have a very good description on certain things like the colours of objects. I like the way you used keep your eyes peeled for the bananas. I find the whole paragraph interesting but the one thing that stands out to me is keep you valuables in a safe place because it shows you how cheeky the gibbons are. I think you should improve on real modal verbs because two of your modal verbs are not actually a modal verb.
