LO: we have been learning to write a character description.
Then the war began. Kensuke heard a gun shot from the depths of the ocean. He could hear screams and brave soldiers shouting for back-up. Hair stood up on his neck. Smelling smoke, he realised that his eyes were burning he had to take a gulp of air. Everything went silent. Anxiously he stood up and walked he saw slaughtered bodies on the floor. Suddenly, heard loud explosions. He felt power less and terrified. His eyes started to water. He sat down and said “I cant carry on.”
Great use of adjectives, I liked it when you wrote “I cant carry on”. I liked it when you said I can’t carry on because it makes the reader wonder what is just going to happen. Next time describe the setting more.
