We have been learning to write a setting description
Darkness closes in whilst the lush vegetation layers the entrance to the gloomy temple. Shards of light reach the floor and the humid air surrounds the explorer. Inside the temple, the walls were damp and mossy and came an eerie screech. In the distance, he heard a waterfall cascading down. Cobwebs hung from the cracked ceiling. A gleaming golden idol stands there on a plinth, waiting to be stolen. Cracked skulls lay everywhere and an elongated bridge with a deep drop, filled the view in front of him. Artefacts, idols, relics, talismans and amulets were littered around the temple.
This was really good, I liked the bit where it said “cracked skulls laid everywhere”
