Suspense writing

All I saw were leaves. I was searching in the misty forest. I rested. I was lost. Lost in the deadly forest. I stopped for a sudden. I heard leaves crumbling from behind me. Leaves fell. Nothing was there, just a fox. A light gust of wind hit me. I did not know what to do. I could smell the dark trees. There were groans. The trees were screaming. It was like eyes were following me. I’m definitely not alone…

Modal verbs

We have been learning to use modal verbs for persuasion

You must come to Kensuke’s kingdom where there is pale soft sand. The sapphire sea glistens when the sun hits the shiny sea. You might want to have a swim in the water. If you like adventures go into the dark gloomy cave to see what creatures might be lurking inside.

If anyone goes into the Emerald Forest they’re are funky Gibbons and Chimpanzees. Come and climb the bendy palm trees. To get the coconuts and coconut milk. Have a recapture of the fun of your childhood. Maybe at night you might have a sneaky smore.

The island is located in the coral sea which is near Australia I the north coast. You have to get the red juicy banana. You can go up the hill to get a panoramic.

I have highlighted the modal verbs to show that I know what they are plus to help you know what they are.
